About the Event
Join us for the 2nd Annual Race Against Suicide, a powerful community event bringing together individuals, families, and organizations from across Missouri to raise awareness and foster hope around suicide prevention.
This year, we are excited to expand the event to include both a 5K and a NEW 10K race, giving participants even more opportunities to get involved. The start and finish line will be located at the brand-new Roy Blunt Center for Healthcare Integration and Innovation Building—home to the Missouri Behavioral Health Council (MBHC)—with race routes using nearby local trails to create a welcoming and energizing atmosphere for participants of all ages and abilities.
This race is more than just a run or walk—it’s an opportunity to come together in remembrance, support, and action.
Most of us have been touched by suicide in some way. Whether you're:
- Honoring the memory of a loved one
- Supporting someone who is struggling
- Running or walking in support of prevention
- Standing in solidarity for mental health awareness
